Dear heavens this is in great shape. 40k miles and it looks like it just rolled off the factory floor.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Davis hasn’t even gotten started on making it better; the current price ($22k) is going to go up up up.
Yeah, it’s an automatic, but I could live with it for that clean an XJ.

They know what they have, although in this case it just might be the best of the breed.

I bought some cheap chrome grill & light bezels for mine to give this look but never got around to installing it.
I think it kind of looks tacky now. And probably wouldn’t go well with my ARB.

Not a big fan of chrome, but I do think I like this appearance better than the stock 2001 nose.
But mainly it’s the interior which is stunning. Check out the video.

I bought mine in 2001. I’m not sure if I had a bit of buyers remorse or it wasn’t available but of course latter in the year folks were offering 0% financing after 9/11. But I bought it in July. So I could have sought a 5 speed for 0%.....
but I have what I have and it doesn’t drive now.
Although there is a big Jeep wheeling weekend in September, if I pay the entry fee I may be motivated to get it going.
I’ll check but we used to do a Thanksgiving weekend run in Attica, IN at the Badlands. May be down for both.

Hold up, this is like 15 minutes from me. I had no idea this place existed.

If I were independently wealthy and lived anywhere near there I’d no longer be independently wealthy.
They seem to attract the cleanest TJs and XJs this side of the Mississippi . The only way I can survive subscribing to t heir YouTube channel is the fact that I’m chronically broke and so can’t do anything stupid.

Japanese Classics and Moss Motors are also here in the Richmond area. We’re pretty stacked, it seems.

Here’s the first TJ that led me to falling in love with Davis.

Noooooo kidding. They’re always selling something I’d give my kidney for.

You didn’t need that kidney anyways.

They seem to do a lot of rebuilding and upgrading to their cars, which is interesting. But they really shouldn’t have used a 30k mile 2 door Cherokee Chief to swap a cummins into.

If I’m not mistaken, these folks ended up with a pretty nice monster truck at one point. They ended up trashing it and selling it.
